GH Motorcycles G&B Finch Team Update

This weekend we had lots going on with various team members scattered all over England racing. We had Luke Benstead and Brendon Mayers racing at Blaxhall, Luke Parker racing at the Mx Nationals in Preston Docks and Rocco Hands racing at Sherwood.

Luke Benstead had a solid start to the season within the Eastern Centre by winning two of the three motos he raced, unfortunately in race two he picked up a puncture and was forced to DNF. Brendon Mayers had a very good day that almost mirrored Benstead, getting a 4th,3rd and a DNF in the final race.Both riders had mixed overall scores with the DNFS playing their part.

Luke Parker had a weekend with some mixed results,race one was difficult for Luke with some very rutty conditions,Luke crashed twice and eventually lost his goggles and had no front brake but still Salvaged a 12th. Race two was much more positive with a 4th. On the Second day Luke felt much better and got a 2nd in the first race followed up by a 3rd in the last race for the weekend. This was enough for Luke to get 4th overall for the weekend in the MX1 Expert Cup class.

Rocco Hands had a very strong weekend considering it has only been a few months since moving up to the 65cc class. With a strong 40 rider line up he rode consistent and scored points in each race getting a 10th, 15th and 19th place finishes giving him 13th place overall for the weekend.
