2022 is shaping up to be an exciting year for GH Motorcycles Ltd, opening in the summer we have our new Yamaha off road dealership. Due to continued expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Sales Assistant to join our successful, friendly team.

This part time role is ideally suited to an individual with experience in a customer facing role including retail, sales, catering or hospitality, although this is not essential. Training and support will be provided to our new team member, ensuring they have all the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their role and progress in their career.

As our new part-time Marketing & Sales Assistant you will be serving customers, dealing with customer and web enquiries and providing the first-rate customer experience GH Motorcycles has become known for. You will use your creative and digital marketing skills to promote our business, and the products we sell, across our social media platforms; achieving agreed objectives and assessing performance against goals. You will also help maintain the Company website.

What you’ll need to do:

  • Serving customers, answering phone, and dealing with enquiries
  • Updating customer records in the company’s database as required
  • Handling web orders, product returns and payment refund requests
  • Creating captivating content for our social media channels, contributing to the social media strategy, increasing awareness and customer engagement.
  • Manage social media pages; post updates, respond to messages & comments
  • Manage products on website, adding and removing products according to stock inventory
  • Unpacking, sorting, and logging new stock delivery
  • Arranging products on the shelves and on promotional displays
  • Keeping the sales floor clean & tidy

We’re looking for someone that has:

  • A proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • 6 – 12 months experience in a sales & marketing role and/or a marketing qualification
  • Experience of content maintenance for a WordPress website
