Gavin Hockey

Gavin started his racing career in 1979 at school-boy level and later progressed to British Championship level for Enduro, winning a British title – so he is truly qualified to understand and meet your off-road requirements.

He established GH Motorcycles in 1984 specialising in 125cc & under as well as off-road bikes. He later extended the range to include all types of 2-wheeled machines, but has now returned to his 40 year love of off-road machines.

Dale gladwin
Manager

Dale started his career in the motorcycle industry here at GH Motorcycles in 2011. He departed ways with GH Motorcycles in 2018 for a new role in Area Sales, working with some of the leading brands within the industry. After a 4-year break, he returns as Manager. Dale has extensive knowledge when it comes to Bikes, Genuine Parts & Clothing + Accessories.

GARY DRAGE
Sales

Gary has been a familiar face around GH Motorcycles, with his many years since a young boy of experience in bikes not only riding and competing at Expert and Championship classes but also deeply in the mechanical side of all bikes to, with this he is a valued team member helping with all bike sales.

Emma Longland-Smith
Admin Assistant

Emma makes sure that all the figures add up so that we can keep ordering the latest and greatest bikes and products to suit our customers needs from the best manufacturers out there.

Joe Phillips
Sales & Parts

Joe used to help out on Saturdays when he was in school, being the real motorbike enthusiast he is. Officially joining our team back in 2018. He is currently undertaking a 3 year Suzuki parts apprenticeship, so he can give everyone who walks through our doors advise on parts and have the knowledge to get the parts they need.

Miller Parsons
Shop Assistant

Miller is new to the team, helping out everyone in the shop on Saturdays. Miller has a great interest and keen to learn the biking world, with experience in riding in Motocross and Enduro events.

Sylvia Hockey
Clothing Department Manager

As Gavin’s mother, Sylvia has supported him and his brother in their racing careers from the very beginning to the present day.

With over 40 years of experience in off-road clothing and equipment, she is fully equipped to assist with any general clothing and gear enquiries and is our longest serving employee here at GH Motorcycles.
