Extreme Enduro Sudbury MCC – Still some entry spots left!

The Sudbury MCC are still working on that Extreme Enduro course at Foxborough Quarry to get it ready for Sunday 4th January! It’s nearing completion but there’s still lots of entry spots left!
You’re welcome to come and spectate, but if you want to get involved then please visit www.sudburymcc.co.uk to enter as a competitor or as a marshal for the event.
So far we have earth moving vehicle tyres for our tyre section thanks to Universal Tyres, a lorry load of concrete lumps for our gnarly jagged rockery section thanks to Steve at G&B Finch Ltd and we will have a log section laid out in the most awkward of ways thanks to Paul Belton.
The rest of the course will be just as demanding with very wet boggy sections,slippery off cambers, fallen trees and more.
The event will start with the riders having to run to their machines like a Le Mans event, with the Pros starting first then Expert, Clubmen and Trials, this will hopefully spread riders out a bit before they hit the first obstacle!
We are hoping  to attract some top riders from other parts of the UK, so if your not up for riding the event it will still be worth coming to either spectate or marshal.

Work party dates are on the SMCC website and you can also download an entry form here for the Extreme Enduro event. We will be posting footage of the track build between now and the 4th Jan on the SMCC face book page so please let us know your thoughts so we can make it an event to remember, we are limited on how many riders we can take, so if you fancy a ride get your entry in to Graham Mays asap.

If you are using SatNav to find it you’ll need to enter CO9 1UH as the postcode. This should lead you to a farm down the road from the quarry where you will see signs for the Extreme Enduro day.
