How they got on…
Aston Bird
Coming into the second round off of a fantastic 3rd place finish debut ride at Thetford Forest, Aston continued his form and set 3 fast special test times which put him in 2nd place for the tests. No rider managed to clean the last lap meaning Aston dropped 1 minute and left him in 2nd position for the day, walking away with 17 points and 2nd in the series.

Steve Mason
Steve Mason was again on board his Husqvarna FE350 for the 2nd round of the GH Motorcycles Husqvarna Eastern Centre Enduro Championships held at Butley. Steve was looking to improve on his15th (8th in Centre) finish at Thetford and managed 11th place on the day dropping 2 minutes. Another excellent performance for Steve!

Brendon Mayers
Brendon unfortunately missed the 1st round of the GH Motorcycles Husqvarna Eastern Centre Enduro Championships however was back at round 2 and ready to go! Managing 3 consistent test times Brendon was on course for a good result. Dropping 2 minutes on the day saw Brendon place 8th overall and collecting 8 points.

Will Hughes
Will Hughes is our only representation in the Expert Class this year aboard a Husqvarna TE 250. Will managed a 6th place finish at Thetford Forest, dropping 2 minutes throughout the day. Looking to build on his previous finish Will went about the Butley course with precision and flow managing 2 quick test times and dropping just 1 minute all day leaving him in 2nd position!

Gavin Hockey
Looking to pick up his first victory in the Veteren over 40’s class was team boss Gavin Hockey. After narrowly missing out on 1st place at Thetford Forest Gavin was eyeing the top step of the podium at the 2nd round in Butley. Putting in 2 consistent test times left Gavin in a great position for the overall, coming in 1 minute late secured him 1st place on the day!

Steve Finch
Team boss Steve Finch was looking good throughout the day on his 2015 Husqvarna FE350. Steve managed two respectful test times to put him in contention for a solid result, however on the last lap Steve had a big get off, harpooning his upper body with his handlebars. This unfortunately put Steve 8th Overall on the day.

Thanks to the Woodbridge DMCC for running a professional and well organised event at Butley that we are pleased to sponsor.
